I can post poems here too, I've decided.
Inspired by Dorothy Parker:
Is it because I take no pause
To say the world has rigid laws
Which govern every flow'ring plant
And guide the actions of each ant
That I see things so lit'rally
And so am bad at poetry?
Is it because I want to say
I have imperfect DNA
Which, while useful in the field of math,
Doth guide me down a log'cal path,
That I find analysis a chore
And so am bad with metaphor?
Is it because I think it true
That today's sky is just as blue
As billions that have come before
And will be such for billions more
That I don't see a point to sit
And write a poem about it?

I've been drawing, but barely anything worth posting.
More cartoon practice (Using tablet this time):

Some rushed charicatures:

And just to show that I'm not too old for the old pencil and paper combo - a sketch. (The preview is much smaller than the full version, so I recommend clicking it to see it.)

Not a real drawing, but something I whipped up recently. For years, I've been occasionally making games of 3d tic-tac-toe involving large, complex boards. Now, I've invented a simple, one-board version that has the same effect, but is easier to play and read. Hopefully the rules are clear. Try it. See if it's any fun. It might not be.
